Thirteen Nails
I stepped up to the challenge of writing a story under 300 words that both contained an LGBTQIA character and addressed the anthology's theme of "Impact." Not only did I get a story accepted, but I also got an honorable mention!

This urban fantasy story introduces the reader to a supernatural investigator who advertises his services on Craigslist. He isn’t quite what he seems, but then, neither is the disturbance he’s been called upon to investigate. A hungry soul devourer and a spirit with something to hide square off in “Sustenance.”
